About Emma

I've been an English teacher for 10 years and have the TEFL Certificate and a University Degree in English Literature, Civilisation and Linguistics. I've worked in different English Academies in London, Lisbon, Spain and South America.

- taught all ages, all levels (A1 to C1) and many different nationalities
- experience with Cambridge Exam preparation (KET, PET, FCE and CAE)
- general English
- business English

About the lesson

After getting to know you and clearly understanding your objectives, I plan personalised lessons that are dynamic, productive and fun.
I spend a lot of time planning interesting and engaging lessons for my students.
Depending on my students' needs, I usually follow a coursebook to have continuity in the learning process.
It's important to develop the five Language Skills (Speaking, Writing, Listening, Reading and Cultural awareness) and to study grammar and vocabulary to make good progress. Putting what we've learnt into practice through games and real-life situations is also very important to improve.

All of this will obviously depends on you and why you are studying English.
I basically make sure that you'll have a good time in my classes as well as learn as much as possible!
