About Evan
Hi, I'm Evan! I have a Master's degree in philosophy with magna cum laude Latin honors. I also have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Philosophy (with honors in philosophy). I'm a native speaker of English. I have studied Spanish, Latin, Italian in the past - each for at least 2 years. I am currently learning basic Brazilian Portuguese which I have studied for about 1 year now.

My classes focus on conversation skills. Students can bring topics or articles that they would like to discuss, or I can come up with topics for us to discuss. I can point out corrections in grammar, word usage, and pronunciation. A typical lesson plan involves an introduction, discussing what the student wants from the class. My lessons are for anybody who wants to improve their English with a focus on speaking and conversation. I provide feedback to students in real-time. I have 10 months of English conversation tutoring experience online with other platforms.
