About Yamid

I am a fifth semester student at the Institute of Foreign Languages of Santo Tomás University, I have been teaching since I was 20 years old, at that age I returned from the United States, I lived 3 years in New York. I have knowledge in French and German but my specialty is English. Not only did I live for three years in the Anglo-Saxon world but I am studying it thoroughly and I have always loved English. I consider that I have talent and I know that I am able to pass my knowledge to other people.

About the lesson

My method of work is very much based on the conversation, without neglecting the writing that I consider is very important as well. However, I think that when you master fluency in speaking by following grammar rules, writing becomes easier, learning to pronounce words correctly not only improves fluency in speaking but also to the recognition of words when we hear them. Tools such as my experience, practical exercises, carefully selected movie scenes, songs, audios and short talk sessions where we will test what we have learnt, make my students show a significant learning curve with 100% satisfaction for each of them .
