About Zama

My Name is Zama. I am a native English speaker with a 120-hour TEFL certificate. I have an associate degree in Journalism. I am passionate about teaching languages. As an English professional and speak very well, I love to teach and share my English skills to help other people reach their potential and build confidence in their abilities. Currently I speak four South African languages so, I have mastered the technique of how to learn a new language . I have tutored online and public school.

About the lesson

As a English teacher I really value my students and I love aligning myself with their overall goal. My lessons are always lively, filled with enjoyable activities and most importantly my lessons are beneficial to my students. I have experience teaching students of all ages and backgrounds, from complete beginners to advanced students. I always aim to make my classes comfortable and enjoyable to give students the opportunity to express themselves and have more talk time, so they can build confidence and get to improve their English skills.

Our first lesson will focus on your English goals and the creation of a specific plan to help you achieve those goals. All lessons are tailored to meet the needs of each student and are presented in a manner that allows you to feel comfortable, ask questions and express yourself. We can have conversation on various topics to help you to get hold of the language. I correct students on the spot, I always do so gentle and with great encouragement so that they don't feel discouraged by their level of knowledge. To keep my students on track I prefer to set goals at the beginning of our encounter because these goals will help us stay on track and review our progress at a later stage.
