About Kess

I am a nearly thirty-year-old married woman whose beloved dog behaves like a child; especially when it comes to cuddling.

I have many hobbies such as painting, knitting, psychology, and a few more. But something that hasn't changed for years is that I'm fascinated by languages, and I love learning them.

In my life, I have had the opportunity and privilege to learn the basics of languages such as French, German, Greek and Russian. I'm currently learning Korean and I'm genuinely enjoying it.

I have been actively providing individual lessons to children, teenagers, and adults for 9 years now.

What motivates me to improve my knowledge and skills is the awareness of how much English brings to our lives. It is present everywhere. When traveling, it is impossible not to notice that this language is necessary to get where we want and even eat what we really want; with no surprises :)

When it comes to Polish, I never was a strict A's student. I rather didn't enjoy learning polish grammar rules and all those other things. But recently, I've discovered how intresting language it is, and how much is there for me to get to know about it.

About the lesson

I assume that everyone has their own individual way of learning, regardless of the subject. Therefore, I adapt the pace, topic, level of difficulty, and the way of explaining to the individual needs of the student. The classes are for you, and you are supposed to benefit from them. I will make sure that you have good time with English and me.
As I mentioned in the title, I have been using English in everyday life for 10 years. Among my direct friends are many from other countries (even continents). I practice my skills and deepen my knowledge every day.
So far, I have had the privilege of helping many children, as well as several adults, with their language goals. Some of them needed help with understanding what was taught in school. With others we prepared for the exams . Yet with few more, my classes were the first steps towards a foreign language. Eventually, we had pleasant conversations with the rest to increase their self-confidence and expand their vocabulary.
As a rule, I have two types of classes, which depend on the student's abilities, but also on their needs. One option is 45 minutes and the other is 60 minutes. Together we determine which one is best for you. Though it may need to be adjusted along the way.
My offer is addressed to those who need a little (or a bit more) help with this rewarding language and whose English is not the first language.
I offer materials tailored to your needs and capabilities, a pleasant atmosphere, but without indulgence, and the pace that neither you nor I suffocate from the excess of words and grammar. And above all, learning a language that native speakers use every day.
