About Irene

If you want to learn Spanish with the guarantee of a Qualified Spanish teacher, who is always getting trained and innovating with the latest news in Spanish teaching and over 5 years of experience, I'm the one. I have a Master in Foreign Languages, specialized in Spanish and Catalan. I have been teaching languages (mainly English and Spanish) for more than 5 years in different academies, schools and companies (Spanish or English for business). I have also taught Spanish in the Queen Mary University of London and coordinated the Grammar and Translation department for and academic course. And tutored some final projects. All of my students have achieved their personal goals or obtained the title they prepared.

About the lesson

What makes my lessons unique? Well, I am Spanish but I studied other languages and got native fluency on them. So I lived some situations and developed learning skills that now help me to understand not only how my students feel when they are learning since but how can they overcome this situations and learn in a efficient and comfortable way. Also I speak, have studied or am familiar with other languages (Italian, English, Japanese, Chinese, Turkish, French), that helps me identify the difficulties and common mistakes tailored to each nationality. Moreover, I have taught in all levels and systems (toddler to adults) (Academies, schools, university and private) which have given me skills to teach in different ways and learning many methods. I am innovative and creative and I like teaching from a communicative approach. I have attended to many courses and workshops (IT and apps as learning resources, coaching, teaching phonics and pronunciation with grammar, foster creativity in the classroom, motivation and overcoming frustration, teaching through literature for children, among others ....) to become a better professor.
