I am a engineering student. Currently i am in second year of my course. I am mathematics topper of my school i scored 95 in twelfth board exam. I used to give mathematics tution to a tenth grade student.

I start off by explaining the students why we need to learn this topic and what is the importance of this topic. Then i start with simple basic example questions. And encourage them to solve questions themselves and after simple questions i move upto difficult and tricky questions m. Firstly encouraging them to solve and then finally telling them how to do it the right way.
