I am patient, kind, and knowledgeable. As a mechanical engineering student at BYU, I spend lots of time studying math and science. My unweighted high school GPA was 4.00 and my college GPA is 3.94. The proof is in the pudding.

I was a teaching assistant for "Dynamics," an engineering physics class at BYU, for four terms. At the end of my last term, the professor reported that the class average was the highest she had ever seen. I can teach any high school level math as well as calculus 1 and 2. I can also tutor high school level physics or the following college courses: Introduction to Newtonian Mechanics, Statics, and Dynamics.
I can also give beginning piano and intermediate trombone lessons. I can teach music theory.
During tutoring sessions, I explain concepts in simple terms, I provide examples, and we work out practice problems. My experience as a teaching assistant and as an FSY counselor has helped me develop patience and the ability to explain complicated ideas in a way that makes sense.
