About Angel Vince
Hello! I’m Thrilled to Help You Succeed.
Choosing the right tutor is an investment in your future, and I take that responsibility seriously. As a dedicated engineering student, my academic background is rooted in rigorous, advanced mathematics and applied physics. I don't just understand these subjects in theory—I put them to work every single day.
When you work with me, you are getting a professional, organized, and deeply committed mentor.
Whether you are looking to pull a failing grade up to a passing one, eliminate homework tears, or turn a B into an A+ on your next high school physics exam, you are in capable hands. Together, we will demystify the numbers, build your academic confidence, and crush your goals.
Let's get to work!

My Approach as a Tutor
I don't believe in forcing students to memorize formulas they don't understand. Because I use math and physics every day to solve actual engineering problems, my goal is to make these subjects concrete, intuitive, and—dare I say—fun. I focus on building a strong foundation so that when a student sees a trick question on an exam, they don't panic; they use logic to work it out.
Teaching Methods & Techniques
The "Why" Before the "How": Before we touch an equation, we discuss what is actually happening physically. (e.g., Instead of just memorizing F = ma, we talk about why it's harder to push a stalled car than a shopping cart).
Active Learning: I use a "I do, we do, you do" progression. I will map out a concept, we will tackle a problem together, and then the student takes the wheel while I act as their pit crew.
Visualizing the Math: I use sketching, diagrams, and real-world analogies to break down abstract concepts into things a student can actually see and touch.
️ A Typical 60-Minute Lesson Plan
Every student learns at a different pace, but a standard session is highly structured to maximize focus and retention:
| 00:00 - 00:10 | The Warm-Up & Review : A quick pulse-check on previous concepts or a review of a frustrating homework problem to build immediate confidence.
| 00:10 - 00:30 | Concept Breakdown : Introducing the new topic using relatable analogies and real-world engineering examples rather than dry textbook definitions.
| 00:30 - 00:50 | Guided & Solo Practice : Working through problems together, gradually stepping back so the student builds independent problem-solving muscles.
| 00:50 - 01:00 | Wrap-Up & Preview : The student summarizes the day's big takeaway in their own words, and we look ahead at what's coming next in class.
What Sets Me Apart
Most tutors approach math and physics from a purely academic standpoint. As an engineering student, I approach them from a practical standpoint.
I am still deep in the trenches of higher-level STEM coursework myself, which means two things: I remember exactly what it feels like to struggle with a complex concept, and I know the shortest, most effective paths to understanding it. I bring the high-energy, peer-to-peer relatability of a mentor rather than the rigid vibe of a classroom lecturer.
Who the Lessons Are For
My lessons are designed for students across all primary and secondary grade levels who want to stop feeling overwhelmed by STEM:
Elementary School (Grades 1-6): Building number sense, overcoming math anxiety, and developing early logic skills through games and visual puzzles.
High School (Grades 7-12): Targeted support for Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and High School Physics.
