About Priya
Hello! I’m Priya, an Engineering graduate in Electrical and Electronics (EEE), currently working in the IT sector. With a strong academic background and a passion for teaching, I specialize in Mathematics for students from Class 6 to 12. I understand that every student learns differently. That’s why I focus on making concepts simple, logical, and relatable, whether it’s basic algebra or complex calculus. I explain in both English and Tamil, based on what’s most comfortable for the student. My classes are structured, student-friendly, and stress-free. I always ensure students feel confident, ask doubts freely, and develop interest in the subject. I’m punctual, professional, and committed to helping every student reach their full potential. As a teacher, I focus on building strong fundamentals in Mathematics by simplifying concepts and teaching in a step-by-step manner. I believe that no student is "bad at math", they just need the right explanation at the right pace.
I use a practical approach: starting from basic concepts, followed by examples, and then moving to practice questions. I also use shortcuts and tips to solve problems faster, especially helpful for exams.
A typical class is structured like this:
1. Quick recap of previous topics (5 mins)
2. Clear explanation of a new concept (20–25 mins)
3. Solving problems together (20 mins)
4. Doubt solving and homework discussion (10 mins)
My special strength as a teacher is explaining in both Tamil and English, depending on the student's comfort. I’m patient, friendly, and adapt my teaching style based on the student's understanding level.
