About Logan
I am a second-year Engineering student at the University of British Columbia in Canada, currently traveling in New Zealand. In high school I was the top academic student and Valedictorian for my graduating year, and have tutored many friends and family members—some professionally and others just to help out. My biggest strength as a tutor is that I'm not some sort of high-level English teacher. I'm a student, just like the majority of people seeking tutoring help, who has learned how to give teachers exactly what they want. In doing so, I've also learned to quickly and efficiently absorb new information. This is what I will show you how to do.

From personal experience I know that we most often seek tutoring when the results we see don't align with the effort we put in. Throughout my time in high school and University, not only did I prove myself as top academic student and Valedictorian, but I also taught myself to think from the perspective of the teacher. It was this approach that brought me so much academic success, and it's this approach that I base my tutoring off of.
I like to cater my lessons to my students which means I am open to teach as long as they are open to learn. Although I specialize in essay writing, I can teach in any area of the English language— typically up to the first-year University level.
