About Jorge

I am an IT professional having 14 years of experience in computer equipment maintenance, Operating Systems and Full Stack Programming.

I studied a technical career as an analyst programmer at CETEC while I was in high school, here I had my first approach to computers and its components.

Later I studied a degree in computer science at the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos, there I had my first approach to Linux Operating Systems / Unix and its operation at the programmer level and at the user level.

After the degree I started working as a software developer at the same university in a project to migrate the software that was used in the administrative area, they used informix, the intention was to make software that was independent of the platform and that could be used distributed among all the faculties and institutes, we made a web application with a MySQL database and servlets.

I gave an introductory course to object oriented programming using Java for the Auto Access and Teleinformatics Center of the university library and I elaborated the material and the exercises for such course.

I worked as a software developer for Sycretic Solutions, where I was in charge of maintaining and creating new functionalities for a document management software created in-house called ERUDITUS.

Currently I have 10 years working for QAD, a multinational company, the first 5 years I was in charge of the technical support area where my main tasks were to provide preventive and corrective maintenance to computer equipment, network monitoring and server administration. Later I moved to the development area where I am part of a multi-regional work team with people in the United States, Ireland, Brazil, Spain and Mexico that is responsible for creating the software solutions that the company needs to communicate with employees and customers using the Liferay platform with javascript, jQuery, AngularJS.

About the lesson

My method is, first, ask what the student wants to learn and based on that, make a work plan that suits their possibilities and aptitudes, I like them ask questions and go as far as the student wishes for any particular subject. The courses are open to all public, from those who do not know anything to intermediate levels
