I worked with Andrea in the World Language department at Oliver Ames High School for four years from September 2014 to June 2018.

Andrea provides her students with a structured and nurturing learning environment. She skillfully teaches students at a variety of levels while maintaining high standards. Andrea is especially skillful in making all of her lessons culturally relevant and excels at supporting her students to develop and maintain communicative skills in the target language. She successfully gives her students the tools to view the world through a different perspective and promotes productive conversations about cultural differences and identity. Andrea goes above and beyond to support her students by coming in early and staying late to offer extra help and guidance to her students.

Andrea is extremely versatile in her language abilities with near native skills in both French and Spanish. She is kind, reliable, punctual and professional.

Andrea provided the TOFEL tutoring for my 15 years old nephew, Ken. She researched lots of information via web and library regarding the best strategies to review TOFEL. Then she recommended the reference books for the sessions. She is a very responsible, reliable, detail oriented, and experienced English teacher. She also helped my nephew to improve his bad habit during the study process. Both Ken and I love Andrea's tutoring. We wish she could stay with Ken for a while. Unfortunately, she relocated to another status. In short, I highly recommend Andrea to any student who wants to master the English language.
