Growing up in a Mexican neighborhood in Chicago, my parents always believed it was important for their children to learn Spanish. I have studied Spanish my entire life, since the young age of 3 I already understood and spoke Spanish thanks to my babysitter. From age 7, I was tutored by a professor from Mexico city who taught me how to properly speak, read and write in Spanish. This would go on for years, until I was fluent enough to learn Science, Math and History in Spanish class. Since then, the Spanish language has been completely integrated into my life, not only where I grew up but also where I chose to go to school, in Spain, where I studied Art in Spanish and lived for 3 years. I have experience teaching art in Spanish and I love sharing my knowledge of the language.
