About Rowan
I’m a dedicated Biology tutor with more than 9 years of experience helping young learners understand the basics of life science. My academic background includes a BSc in Ecology and Conservation, which strengthened my fascination with the natural relationships between plants, animals, and ecosystems. I love working with middle school students, where curiosity is strong and every question opens the door to discovery. It’s a wonderful stage for learning.
My teaching style focuses on making science tangible and fun. We often observe plants, insects, and animals in everyday environments to understand how living things function and interact. Even the smallest details can lead to meaningful discussions. I also guide students through simple experiments, like growing seeds and recording their progress.
I enjoy telling engaging stories about biodiversity and unique species from around the world. These stories help students see how fascinating biology can be. They also encourage students to ask more questions and explore deeper ideas.
Over the years, I’ve helped many young learners develop a genuine interest in nature and scientific inquiry. Seeing their excitement grow is always rewarding. The natural world is full of wonders waiting to be discovered. Let’s explore them together!

The teaching style focuses on making Biology both understandable and intellectually engaging. Lessons explore major concepts such as evolutionary biology, natural selection, speciation, and phylogenetics. These topics explain how species develop, diversify, and remain connected through evolutionary history. Students begin to see the structure behind biodiversity.
