About Sofia

I’m an Emmy-nominated digital media producer and entrepreneur with over 18 years of professional experience across film, television, and digital platforms. My background includes producing, directing, budgeting, risk mitigation and managing projects in fast-paced, real-world environments where clarity, collaboration, and accountability matter. I bring a calm, organized, and supportive approach to teaching. Students can expect professionalism, honest feedback, and lessons grounded in industry reality rather than theory alone. I value preparation, clear communication, and creating a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring their creative goals. My aim is to help students build confidence, practical skills, and a realistic understanding of how media work functions today. I work heavily domestically and globally—including part-time in Los Angeles, CA.

About the lesson

My lessons are practical, structured, and rooted in real-world industry experience. As an Emmy-nominated digital media producer with over 18 years working across film, television, and digital content, I focus on helping students understand how media is actually developed, produced, and delivered—not just theory.

Each session is tailored to the student’s goals and experience level. Lessons may include creative development, production workflows, storytelling, editing fundamentals, or career navigation, depending on what the student wants to learn. I prioritize clarity, confidence, and transferable skills students can apply immediately.

These lessons are ideal for aspiring filmmakers, content creators, career-changers, or professionals looking to strengthen their media and storytelling skill set.
