About the lesson

English, Creative Writing, and Essay Writing lessons are designed to empower you to think clearly, write confidently, and tell compelling stories. Here’s what you can expect:

Teaching methodology and techniques: I blend evidence-based language learning with psychology-informed strategies. Each session uses active learning, spaced repetition, and constructive feedback. I combine mini-lectures with guided practice, iterative drafts, peer-review prompts, and targeted prompts to build critical reading and writing skills. Language accuracy, style, voice, and argument structure are all addressed through explicit rubrics and model texts.

A typical lesson plan:

Quick warm-up and goals check (5 minutes)
Short mini-lesson focused on a specific skill (vocabulary for writing, rhetorical technique, or narrative pacing) (10–12 minutes)
Guided writing activity or editing exercise with live feedback (15–20 minutes)
Peer review or reflective practice with targeted questions (5–7 minutes)
Independent practice or revision planning for the next session (5 minutes)
Summary of takeaways and a clear, measurable objective for the next lesson (2–3 minutes)

I integrate psychological principles, memory, motivation, and metacognitive strategies to tailor lessons to how you learn best. I emphasize real-world application, portfolio-building, and iterative improvement. My feedback is specific, actionable, and balanced with encouragement, helping you grow confidence and consistency in your writing.

Who the lessons are for: These lessons suit university students and advanced high school learners aiming to improve English fluency, creative writing, essay construction, and storytelling. Ideal for students preparing for writing-intensive courses, those seeking to strengthen analytical essays, or anyone wanting a solid portfolio of polished pieces. Content can be adapted for varied levels, from beginner college writers to honors-level students seeking deeper critique and advanced stylistic control.
