About Jessica
My goal as a teacher/tutor for each day is that every kid in my class not only learns but that they enjoy learning. I want my students to know they are loved and they are capable of accomplishing greatness. What I love the most about teaching is seeing my students have that light bulb moment. Every student deserves someone who will never ever give up on them. They deserve someone who will believe in them. They deserve someone who will show them that through hard work and determination that they can become the best versions of themselves. I refuse to leave any kid behind, no matter the challenge.

My primary focus in K-2. However, I have also taught 3-5 reading intervention! I use a student centered learning approach. My teaching is based on what YOU need. It is catered to you as an individual. In our typical reading lesson we will cover the 5 essentials reading components: Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Fluency, Vocabulary, Comprehension. I bring high energy and a love teaching. Through hard work and determination we can make sure that your child knows that they can overcome their challenges and succeed!
