About Calin
I am currently a third grade teacher who specializes in the areas of math, reading, and writing. I love kids and enjoy helping kids learn and grow both academically and socially. Prior to teaching third grade students I taught in the special education setting for three years teaching kids in grades k-7.
I love making learning fun while having high expectations of my students.

Hello! When tutoring or teaching in the classroom, my lessons start with a review of previous skills/concepts. Then I teach new material or reteach concepts the student has forgotten. Following my direct instruction, I have the student complete a task with me before sending them off to work on their own with myself readily available for questions and further support.
