About Sarah
My name is Sarah Cherney and I am a current Kindergarten teacher working in Berkeley. With ten years of experience under my belt in the classroom ranging K-5, I have a breadth of understanding where students should start and end. After attending UC Berkeley for undergrad, I worked full time as an Associate Teacher while earning my Master's Degree from University of the Pacific. Over the last ten years I have had the privilege of working at some of the finest private schools in the Bay Area. My teaching pedagogy is rooted in serving the whole child, seeing each student's strength and helping them hone in on their challenge areas. As a person with learning differences, I also have a deep sense of differentiated learning practices.
