Hi! I am studying biology at University of California, San Diego. I have taken and excelled in math courses through my academic career and I have experience working with and teaching children ages 5-13. I have specifically tutored kids online for about 2 years

My teaching approach involves a lot of practice and visual aids and hands-on activities such as games or drawings to help understand tricky math concepts. I encourage my students to ask a lot of questions, and have patience when learning new topics. In addition, I provide consistent review of previous material as well as challenging problems to solidify all the concepts they learn.

I hired Prerona for my daughter Ruth, and Ruthh absolutely loved her! I sat in on a couple lessons and Prerona is very knowledgable about the material. She really helped guide Ruth through how to do the problems rather than just give away the answer, which I appreciated. Prerona instilled a passion for learning in Ruth.
