About Lucy

I am a patient, organized, and encouraging tutor who enjoys helping students strengthen their English skills and become more confident learners. I believe students learn best when they feel supported, have opportunities to ask questions, and can work through challenges at their own pace.

I strive to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable practicing new skills, learning from mistakes, and celebrating their progress. My goal is to help each student build a strong foundation in English while developing skills they can use both in the classroom and beyond.

I am committed to making learning approachable, engaging, and personalized to each student's needs.

About the lesson

My English lessons are personalized to each student's grade level, learning needs, and individual goals. I work with elementary and middle school students to strengthen reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar, spelling, and vocabulary.

Depending on the student's needs, sessions may include reading and analyzing passages, improving sentence structure, practicing grammar rules, organizing paragraphs, developing essays, expanding vocabulary, or reviewing classroom assignments.

I focus on breaking concepts into manageable steps, providing clear explanations, and practicing skills together. Students are encouraged to ask questions, think independently, and develop strategies they can use on their own.

Each session is designed to help students improve their skills, grow in confidence, and feel more prepared for school.
