About Eleanor

- What kind of experience do you have?

I have two years first hand tutoring experience and have tutored pupils of all ages.

Previous experience includes teaching a secondary after school drama class and helping vulnerable teens with their reading skills, and teaching English at a school for troubled children.

I'm a performer so I'm both confident and engaging. I have a life-long love of all things creative and have been involved with the arts from a very early age, including drama and piano playing.

As well as Masters in Literature and Creative Writing I have a genuine love of English and History, and spend much of my spare time reading, writing and visiting historic places.

I teach English literature and language, Drama and History and 11+. I also specialise in essay writing.

- How much do you charge?

I charge £30 per hour, or £50 for two hours. Other discounts are available for groups.

- Where do you teach?

I teach at student's homes. Although I'm based in Clapham, I'm happy to travel anywhere within London.

- When are you available?

I'm very flexible and can do mornings, after school, weekends and evenings, and fit around the pupil's schedule. I also teach online at flexible hours

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

I teach 5 and upwards, and also welcome adult learners at all stages. I have a thorough knowledge of most English, Drama and History topics and techniques for secondary schools and undergraduate university level.
