About Tariq
PhD student with over 500 hours of tutoring experience, I have developed a systematic approach to tutoring whereby I firstly identify the strengths and weaknesses of the student - this helps me to understand how to tailor my teaching to the students' needs.
For some students I need to make the subject more interesting, mainly by engaging their attention to the subject matter. I firmly believe that a greater sense of interest in the subject will greatly aide a student's academic performance.
Besides that, I am also very capable in providing students with a clear understanding of what works in an exam and what does not. Ranging from essay structures to written expression, I am committed to instilling my students with a sense of confidence regarding exam technique.
