About Allison
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Secondary Education focus. My major is English and a minor in Communications. I then received training from Specialized Language Development in Orton-Gillingham. Furthermore, I trained through the National Institute of Learning Development (NILD) for two additional years, earning a Level II Certification Educational Therapist.

My teaching methods include visual and auditory perception, memory retention, and math understanding. I have worked extensively with students of all ages that have learning challenges (i.e. processing disorders, dyslexia and dyscalculia). My lesson plans include techniques which comprise: rhythmic writing, dictation and copy, buzzer and math block.
