Diya is a wonderful tutor, instilling her confidence and organizational skills within her learners through continuous verbal and written positive feedback, engaging and interactive lessons along with personalizing her lessons to her students. Through our 1 to 1 sessions, she has made it very clear that the student and learner is at the center of the teacher's attention, meeting all of her aims and the learner's needs, portraying inclusive and specific activities.

From past tutoring sessions, she has motivated me to continue learning, even when faced with challenges, showing patience and empathy - in my opinion, one of Diya's greatest skills as a tutor is presenting a safe and supportive environment to learn, where she constantly highlights how communication is key, whilst simultaneously providing me with constructive feedback. As a previous student, I did not take in feedback as I saw it as a failure on my part, demotivating me when studying for exams, however Diya's accurate understanding of her subject and my own needs, allowed me to embrace feedback, which I now view as support rather than something I should be ashamed of. She has taught me the importance of reflection, which I have applied to my daily life - reflecting on interactions with others and focusing on my own personal growth.

I have struggled several times with finding the correct form of study method for myself however Diya helped me with understanding that I work best visually - she allowed me time to understand myself through trial and error, where I learn better with imagery, videos and mind mapping with my own personal images. She provided me space to comprehend different provided materials such as worksheets, customizing them for my own benefit.

In the future, as I know it takes time to gain such wonderful skills that Diya holds, I would like to garner a skill set just like hers and I would also like to influence others in the influential manner that she has done for me.

I truly believe, through the changes I have seen within myself, that Diya can meet the educational needs of any student and she carries herself with the very same respect she provides her learners.
