About Dario
I’ve been fond of languages since I was little as I grew up in a bilingual family.
The reason of this is that my mother lived in Australia in the 60s and 70s, before I was born.
I think the best thing about knowing a few languages is to be able to enjoy art (music, movies and TV shows mostly) in their original language. There’s nothing worse than a good movie with your favorite American actor dubbed into Italian!
I learnt my languages by a combination of travels, jobs abroad, romantic relationships and study.
I lived 10 years in Spain, 8 in Australia, 1 in the UK, 5 months in Brazil and traveled to Portugal over 20 times for work.
MY HOBBIES:
Sailing, Yoga, Fitness, Swimming, Snorkeling, Reading, Writing, Painting, Drawing.

We would start with songs, movie titles, funny facts and people's surnames (Most of them have a meaning!). We ll talk about "false friends" i.e. words that are similar but mean something totally different. I have experience with any level and age.
I've been teaching my nieces and girlfriend.
