About Kayode
I am an instructor with experience teaching in Nigeria and in the United States. I have taught at high school and university level and I'm known for my professionalism and empathy. My student evaluation in the US also reflect this. A student in my class commented " Great class and great professor. He was always available to help with any questions anyone may have had. I learned a lot about Excel and can now use that knowledge to build up my career." It is my goal to help each student I teach grow and build skills that can help them build their careers.

I see my role as a facilitator and mentor, guiding students as they explore, question, and understand new ideas.
I design my classes to give students opportunities to engage directly with the material, encouraging them to connect concepts to real-world contexts.
Recognizing that each student has a unique background and learning style, I tailor my approach to meet students at their current level, providing structure and guidance to those who need it while granting more autonomy to those prepared to take initiative.
I believe the surest way to satisfy curiosity is to learn by doing, breaking technical concepts into relatable, real-world use cases and ensuring students participate in class rather than just listening to me.
When I teach Data Modeling and Analysis with Microsoft Excel, I noticed that students had very different levels of spreadsheet proficiency. To ensure student’s success, I redesigned the course materials around practical, real-world examples.
Each class session is fully hands-on and participatory, and
every question is answered.
