About Tsitsi

I am an Ecologist who is currently a Facilitator for Environmental Practice at a training Academy. I have an MSc in Ecology and BSc in Environmental Science. I have more than 5 years tutoring experience. I have taught more than 200 students and most of them passed with flying colours.

I am aware of the impact of the school with quality education can provides on students who grow up to be responsible adults.Leveraging my 5 years of teaching experience, I anticipate that I will be able to contribute highly to helping students meet their curriculum goals and how they perceive education. Since I have taught students ranging from high school to adults, I am well aware of all levels of impact i can provide to students pertaining to skills they will eventually offer at the work place. I believe with this level of impact can help students in learning through both conventional means and modern ways.I believe that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. It is my desire to create this type of atmosphere where students can meet their full potential.

About the lesson

As a Facilitator of Environmental Science Practice, i usually us participatory method of learning as i is more hands on. This particular group of students who are already at the workplace who want to add onto the skills or knowledge they already have. Most of the are seniors at work who usually address meetings.
Training adults requires a choice of varied teaching methods adapted to the audience, to learning objectives and to content. These include flipped classrooms, case studies, problem solving, mini-projects, short-term tasks, formal presentations, debates, panel discussions, tutorials, practical work sessions, workshops, role-play, multimedia sessions, simulations, study visits, blended learning, etc. The more interactive and participatory the method, the greater the audience’s concentration and the easier skills are acquired.
This method of learning ensures makes students to understands as the human brain easily comprehend things in pictures and also guarantees participation by everyone and makes teaching easier.
