About Jack
I hold a B.A. in International Relations from Sarah Lawrence College, a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Certification, and an M.F.A. in Screenwriting from Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema at Brooklyn College.
I have taught or worked as a Teacher's Assistant at Brooklyn College, an English-language Instructor at Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences in Chongqing, China, and a writing instructor at New York Film Academy.
My professional experience includes working as an Associate Producer for companies such as HBO Max, Bron Studios, and Boardwalk Pictures; I currently work as an Asbestos Litigation Paralegal at Simon Greenstone Panatier, PC in New York City.

My pedagogical focus is on low-stakes, enjoyable learning. Our lessons will usually revolve around conversation: what was assigned the previous lesson, next steps to build upon that lesson, and setting goals for the future.
Though I'm credited to teach for professional advancement, I'm much more interested in providing a safe space for personal growth and academic pleasure.
Our week-by-week roadmap will be guided by you; my role is simply to facilitate your learning.
