About Carolina

I am from Colombia, and I studied psychology at the University of "Santo Tomás de Aquino" in Bogotá, Colombia. I have worked in my private practice and I have been a teacher of sexual education in a college of Primary, Secondary and High School. I was a professor of integral "Development of the person" and "formation of values" in the University of Santo Tomas. I was working in Washington, D.C. as a psychologist for the Latino community in radio programs and research projects for the prevention of domestic violence.

I currently live in Florida with my husband and two teenage sons, and I teach Spanish to American and European people that they need to speak Spanish. I have a master's degree in Business Administration from Keiser University and I love to teach. That's why I got the certificate of substitute teacher to expand my knowledge of the Spanish language.

I believe that my studies as a psychologist and business administration have allowed me to acquire a Spanish excellent in terms of writing and use of words elegant and correct to strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere in the world where Spanish is spoken.

Students in my classes can enjoy talking to the universal Spanish vocabulary, with quick and easy to understand. I assure you that in a few months you will be able to have a conversation with Latino people and write letters.

About the lesson

The Spanish classes uses a linguistic approach in treating grammatical structures. Concise and down-to-earth explanations are followed by completion exercises for testing and reinforcing comprehension of the grammar . A variety of practical exercises completes each grammar section. As always, new words have to be memorized. To help you in this, a variety of exercises reinforces your memorization , and it expands your vocabulary. Furthermore, the new words are used in the grammar sections, both in the examples and in the exercises.
1. A vocabulary list of the words used in the lesson, with some cultural notes and several practical drills for the new words.
2. A dialogue using the key words of the previous vocabulary followed by exercises in comprehension and vocabulary.
3. The grammar section with a corresponding completion practice, followed by one or more exercises.
4. Answer for all of the exercises for correction.
5. Conversation on the materials completed and presented by the students.
6. Reader in Spanish
