About Zinnia
For the last 7+ years, I have enjoyed teaching Spanish to school and college students from different learning backgrounds. My teaching philosophy is simple: make every lesson meaningful, interactive, and enjoyable. I believe language learning should build confidence as well as knowledge.
I use conversation-based learning, vocabulary games, grammar practice, pronunciation coaching, audio activities, reading assignments, writing exercises, and cultural discussions to make lessons engaging. Students actively participate in every class, helping them improve naturally and confidently.
Besides Spanish, I teach grammar, vocabulary building, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading comprehension, writing, conversational Spanish, cultural understanding, and examination preparation. I work closely with students to help them achieve their academic and personal language goals.

My teaching approach is designed to make Spanish easy to understand and enjoyable to learn. I use Communication, Flexibility, Creativity, Accountability, and Integrity to create a classroom where students feel motivated to participate and improve with every lesson.
Besides Spanish, I teach Spanish Grammar, Vocabulary Development, Reading Comprehension, Writing Practice, Listening Skills, Speaking Skills, Pronunciation, Conversational Spanish, Business Communication, Travel Spanish, Cultural Awareness, and Exam Preparation. These connected subjects help students develop strong language skills in a balanced way.
Communication is at the centre of every lesson. Students improve through conversations, discussions, listening exercises, and interactive speaking activities that encourage natural language use. Grammar is taught through meaningful examples instead of memorisation.
Flexibility allows me to personalise every lesson according to the student's strengths and learning objectives. Creativity helps me use videos, games, stories, visual resources, and role-playing activities to keep lessons interesting and memorable.
Accountability is maintained through regular practice, revision, assignments, and detailed feedback that supports continuous improvement. Integrity guides every lesson by creating an honest, respectful, and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves in Spanish.
