About Raja
Having taught students from ages 6 to 86, I have refined a unique pedagogical method that allows students to relax, focus, and reach a very high standard in a short space of time. I will firstly find the individuals style and interests to ensure learning is both fun and productive.
My students have achieved both graded exams, and also passed their chosen schools entrance exams with flying colours to secure 1 of 10 places in their chosen school. This is an important time of a child and young adults life where they will enjoy and achieve more in their chosen school / learning establishment.
I wanted to teach to help other achieve what I have. I heard a friend playing in school and said I want to do that. Found I was able to learn my listening, and later with music.

Having taught students from ages 6 to 86, I have refined a unique pedagogical method that allows students to relax, focus, and reach a very high standard in a short space of time. I will firstly find the individuals style and interests to ensure learning is both fun and productive.
I have competed and won piano competitions, and performed as a soloist with orchestras and entertaining customers in Hotels and restaurants. I now dedicate most of my time to performing works for solo piano, as well as sharing my passion for music with my students which range in age from 6 years through to 80 years.
Availability: Weekdays 6pm until 8pm. Weekends: Saturday 2pm to 6pm and Sunday 11am to 4pm.
Willing to travel: Home Only or online virtual lessons via secure encrypted Zoom/ MS Teams or Skype video.
Experience: 12 years of Part-time teaching experience. Revolutionary pedagogical method that accelerates progress without compromise. By understanding the anatomy of the hand and fingers, one realises that the lumbrical muscles can be used to reduce as much tension and stiffness as possible. When this unique physical approach is combined with knowledge of performance psychology, the pianist can achieve, with purposeful regular practise, virtuoso playing with less, not more effort and in a remarkably short period of time.
