About Charley
I am a graduate of Durham University with a degree in Modern Languages & Cultures (Spanish & Russian). I speak English, Spanish, and French fluently, as well as Russian to a high level. I have previous experience tutoring Year 7, GCSE, A-Level, IB students, and adults in French and Spanish.

First and foremost, I like to gain an insight into my student's level of Spanish, so as not to waste time going over things they already know. I also ask what the student would like to focus on (grammar, vocab, exam prep, etc.) and base my lessons around that. Unless the student would prefer otherwise, my lessons are a mix of oral and written work. At the beginning of every lesson, I spend a bit of time doing a quick refresher of what was covered in the previous lesson, focusing on elements the student might have struggled with when first going over it - if they are still struggling with it, I will include it in subsequent refreshers until they grasp it.
