About Jessie
Hi, I’m Jessie!
I’m 26 and I love all things music, but the drums are my biggest passion and it’s something I want to share with others.
Whether you’re picking up the sticks for the first time or want to play your favourite songs with confidence, my lessons are relaxed, encouraging and tailored entirely to you.

My teaching approach
I believe the best way to learn drums is through music you genuinely enjoy. We’ll build solid technique, timing and confidence while learning grooves, fills and songs that match your taste—whether that’s rock, pop, indie, funk or something completely different.
Every lesson is adapted to your age, experience and personal goals, so you’ll always be learning at a pace that feels comfortable.

What lessons are like
A typical lesson includes a warm-up, technique, rhythm exercises, and learning grooves, fills or songs. I break difficult ideas into simple, manageable steps, so you’ll always leave with something new to practise.
My background
I’ve been playing drums for over five years and have had more than four years of one-to-one tuition. Alongside Rockschool training, I’ve studied a wide range of styles including rock, indie, pop, metal, Latin rhythms, shuffle grooves and odd time signatures, as well as performing and rehearsing in band settings.
