About Roberto

I am a professional audio engineer and drummer from Mexico who lives in Germany. I have successfully completed my bachelors degree in audio engineer and music producer in contemporary pop music. I have been an avid drummer since 2006, which is why I am very interested in the music industry, the film industry and everything related to it. During various internships in recording studios I already gained experience as a sound engineer for various projects. In doing so, I was responsible for the audiovisual and musical design, the mixing, the editing and the mastering. As a kid I had a lot of interest in rock music and I watched MTV for hours but I could not play a musical instrument yet. That's why it was easier for me to follow the rhythm. I made drums out of cushions and every day after school I imitated the drummers on TV. After 9 years between private lessons and self-study, I registered with the "Academia de Música Fermatta". There I took lessons from drummers who are very active in the music industry. I've also gained a lot of experience on stage with bands from a variety of genres such as psychedelic rock, jazz, pop, punk, metal, latin, etc. In 2018, I successfully completed my undergraduate degree as a music producer and audio engineer in Popular and Contemporary Music ".

About the lesson

Drum lessons As a teacher, I know that theory and technology is not something that all students are looking for, and it can sometimes be difficult to practice. That's why I share my lectures in 20 to 30 minute pieces to have a very active and exciting lesson. I offer a very dynamic classroom in which the students have my whole attention. I also give a lot of learning material to study at home. My teaching offer is for all ages and not just for beginners, but also for advanced students. For advanced students I offer: drum chart reading, creating drum charts, repertoire in different genres, etc. I do not have all the answers and solutions, but I'm looking forward to developing with you as a teacher.
