About Pietro

I am a professional drummer and composer with a passion for teaching. This passion comes from my many ups and downs with playing drums, not feeling at my best, not knowing what to do next, and so on, and what always got me out of this rabbit hole was the presence of my teacher, always showing me something new, to ignite again my passion, and giving me back the confidence to keep going. and when I had my first students a few years back, I first handedly saw that fire ignite, when a concept clicks in, and all there's left to do is just to enjoy playing and experimenting. and this is what I strive for when teaching.

About the lesson

If you're curious about playing drums, you already know that playing them is a lot of fun, but know that learning them can be frustrating, and I know that first handedly. So to try and make up for that I try to approach it in a funnier way, although still keeping all of the techniques, to do so I usually would structure a lesson in three parts, the first one is coordination, making sure you can have fun grooving along songs from the first few lessons, the second is the technique, which might be a bit frustrating, but really useful in the long run, and more important the third part at the end, where is dedicated to "jamming", so trying a apply the concept we learnt on the day, because after all there's no point in learning something you want use. this lessons are perfectly suitable for all ages in the beginner/intermediate stage of the instrument learning curve.
