With a deep-rooted passion for music, Cadan has honed his craft for 15 years, evolving into a versatile and accomplished musician. Based in the South Wales and the vibrant music scene of Bristol, Cadan's rhythmic journey has taken him from the stage to the classroom and now into the world of academia. Cadan holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the BIMM Bristol, an institution renowned for nurturing musical talents. His academic pursuit didn't stop there—he's currently a dedicated PhD student at the Russel Group University of Glasgow, where he delves deeper into the intricacies of the role of the drummer through the last 150-years of pop music. With a rich and diverse musical palette, Cadan has mastered various genres, but it's in the realms of Blues, Rock, and Country music where he truly shines. His drumming breathes life into the music, adding depth and character to every song.

Beyond his performances, Cadan is a committed educator and teacher. He shares his wealth of knowledge and expertise as a tutor with Gwent Music, guiding and inspiring the next generation of musicians throughout Gwent primary & secondary schools. His mentorship extends beyond the classroom, shaping budding talents into seasoned professionals, with lesson offered to all ages and levels of musical ability. This is all not to mention Cadan knowledge and experience in academic writing a research methodology. Cadan's rhythmic prowess isn't limited to the classroom or the studio where he has several public available albums. He is an integral part of the Bristol-based band "Calibre," where his drumming forms the backbone of their signature sound. In the heart of every great band there is a drummer setting the tempo, creating the foundation for musical magic. Cadan is one such magician, casting rhythmic spells that transport listeners to different emotional landscapes. His journey as a professional drummer, percussionist, academic, and educator is a testament to his unwavering dedication to the art of music. About the lesson

My lesson and philosophy to tailer the lesson for the student. Teaching is all about connecting the student with the music they love so that you can meet your goal and targets for you musicality. My job to help you reach these goal and nurture your musical identity.

I am most proficient in blues, rock and country music and have experience with teaching beginner and younger children through the Gwent Music Service in South Wales.

I have a degree and masters as well as being a currently PhD candidate so all levels, peoples and anything in between are welcome.
