About Ann
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and have over 12 years of teaching experience working with students of different ages and backgrounds. I regularly work with international students through structured online lessons. My teaching system is designed specifically for remote learning, making it accessible and effective regardless of location.
Over the years, one belief has remained constant in my teaching:
No one is ever too late to start learning. Many adults hesitate to begin drumming because they feel they’ve missed their chance, or because they don’t own a drum set. I strongly believe neither of these should be barriers. Everyone can learn when the approach is clear, structured, and patient.
My teaching style is calm and step-by-step. I break down every skill into small, manageable sections so that nothing feels overwhelming. Rhythm, coordination, and technique can always be simplified and rebuilt in a way that makes sense.
A drum kit is not required when starting out.
There is always something meaningful to learn: timing, control, hand coordination, groove foundation, even without a full setup. Many of my students begin using simple practice methods at home before transitioning to a drum set later on.
