About Chloe

I’m a drum teacher with 11 years of experience and a Master of Arts in Music. My lessons focus on developing strong foundational skills. I teach coordination, timing, technique, and musical expression. Students learn through both structured exercises and song-based activities. I work with beginners, intermediates, and advancing players. My teaching style is approachable and motivating. I adapt each lesson to fit the student’s goals. Practice plans are clear and manageable. We explore several genres to build versatility. I emphasise proper form and consistent improvement. Students are encouraged to develop their own creative style. I enjoy helping learners build confidence step by step. My lessons create a balance between discipline and enjoyment. Watching students grow musically always inspires me. I aim to make drumming fulfilling and fun. I am committed to helping you succeed as a drummer.

About the lesson

My drum lessons are designed to provide a structured, fun, and encouraging environment for students of all ages and skill levels, especially beginners who are just starting their musical journey. Each lesson is customised to the student’s needs and goals, whether learning basic rhythms, improving coordination, or building confidence behind the kit. Lessons cover timing, stick technique, hand independence, groove, dynamics, rhythm reading, and musical awareness, gradually increasing in complexity as students progress. I incorporate play-along tracks, exercises, song practice, and improvisation to make learning practical and enjoyable. Students receive guidance on practice routines, goal setting, and tracking progress to ensure steady improvement. My teaching environment is positive, patient, and supportive, giving learners the confidence to take risks and explore their musical creativity. Lessons emphasise listening skills, rhythm comprehension, and applying techniques in real-world situations, including ensemble play. I celebrate achievements at every stage to maintain motivation and encourage continuous growth. Students gradually develop technical ability, musical expression, coordination, and independence. Each lesson is designed to be productive, engaging, and rewarding, building both skill and confidence. Drumming becomes a tool for self-expression, creativity, and emotional connection. By balancing technical instruction with fun and exploration, students learn to enjoy the process while improving steadily. My goal is to help every beginner develop into a confident, expressive, and skilled drummer.
