About Rory

I'm Rory. I'm an actor who's currently working in the industry and have been, consistently, for the last 5 years. Having been through drama school training and multiple auditions for the schools and as part of my day-to-day, I want to help you explore the craft of acting so you can get the best out of yourself, and the wonderful world of acting, in all its forms.
I've led workshops and have coached several students, helping them all get into their first choice schools.
Whether you want to pursue a career in the industry, get into drama school, work on a monologue or sonnet, or improve your public speaking, I'm here to help in a warm, collaborative and fun (hopefully) environment.

About the lesson

Hi! With me you'll get a 1 on 1 lesson where we dive into whatever text you need help with. I've been mainly trained in the Stanislavski method, but do have a background in Meisner. We'll cover warm-ups and breath work, how to master and use nerves in any given scenario, script analysis, character building, audition prep and self-tape set up and delivery.
You'll get the most from me if you have a passion for acting and drama, whether it's wanting to make the leap from local theatre into the profession, auditioning for drama schools or just wanting to explore performing or public speaking.

I met Rory studying together at Drama School. He is a very patient, kind and professional person who I could always rely on.

In terms of his teaching methods, I always felt like he was able to understand how people worked and changed his methods to accommodate.

He works very hard, I remember him always being the first one in the building and the last one to leave!
