About Kieran

Hi, I'm Kieran. I'm 18 and am currently in my first year of training as an Actor-Musician at GSA. Musical Theatre has been a part of my life since I was born, and I have been doing amateur theatre since I was 7. I was able to get to a level where I could get into drama school and pursue a career in the arts because of the wonderful teachers I had. So if you're a young aspiring performer wanting to discover your talent. Or whether you're someone looking to rekindle a love for theatre you've lost, I hope you'll be able to find what you're looking for with me.

About the lesson

For beginner Actors/Singers of any age looking for affordable lessons

For acting, lessons will begin with a quick vocal warm-up involving voice exercises and tongue twisters. Then, depending on the age/experience of the student, we will work on a monologue that has been chosen either by myself or by the student. Looking at how we can bring out a better performance of the monologue whether that is through looking at the wider context of the speech within the play, or the character speaking.

For singing, lessons will be structured very similarly, beginning with a vocal warm-up. In this case, focused more on pitch exercises to get the voice ready to sing. We will then work through a song chosen either by myself or the student (for same reasons as above). We will focus on singing technique as well as performance. Making sure we have a balance of a well-rounded sound, as well as a good acting performance within the song.
