About Lottie
I am currently studying for my PhD in cancer research, specifically the effects of FLASH radiation on solid tumours at the University of Oxford. I hope my work will help cancer patients receive more effective treatments with fewer side effects, so that not only do they live longer, but their quality of life is also greatly improved. I have a 1st Class BSc Biomedical Sciences degree from Cardiff University and a Distinction in MRes Oncology from the University of Manchester so I understand the pressures of studying and achieving high grades from Russell Group universities, and the pressure to achieve the GCSE and A Level results to get into these institutions. I also play netball in the Swindon League. I would love to help younger students accomplish their dreams and feel more confident in their academic abilities.

I am happy to teach face to face or online. I will ask you to provide a list of topics you currently struggle with. I will then structure my lessons around these themes and provide questions which we can work through together during the session, and yourself after. Once work is returned to myself I can mark it and provide constructive feedback. My sessions will be interactive and discussion is always welcomed. Length can be 30-60 mins per session, depending on the tutee's preference. I have an autistic younger sister who I tutor (she is in secondary school) and also have experience on the MyTutor platform. I can cover the biology field from GCSE to A Level, but open to discussion for school years 7-9 if a student requires extra support during this time.
