About Matias
Born into a family of photographers in Barcelona, Spain, I developed a passion for photography at an early age.
Between 2013 and 2017, I pursued formal training in visual storytelling while earning my Bachelor of Arts in Photography at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague, Netherlands.
Since 2018, I have been working on a documentary project in Myanmar in collaboration with National Geographic.
My work has been featured in internationally renowned outlets such as National Geographic, The Guardian, Al Jazeera, Clarín, PDN, and Frontier Myanmar

I will share with you the most important visual, technical and narrative skills tips so that you learn how to make beautiful pictures and tell powerful stories.
I have an extensive background as a photography teacher, having trained hundreds of people through storytelling workshops in Spain and Myanmar, both independently and in collaboration with organizations, such as National Geographic Society, Airbnb and PhotoDoc Association.
