About Lekha

I am a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine candidate. I majored in biology and double minored in psychology and business at Nova Southeastern University. I have been involved in many extracurricular activities pertaining to and outside of medicine. As a student in academia, I can greatly relate to the difficulties and the challenges faced. Thus, I am here to help you realize your potential. A failure is only an event, but it is not what defines you. In the process of tutoring you in whatever it is that you want to conquer, I want to also help you mold your character and make you believe that the most complicated concepts can certainly come at ease! In my free time, I like to research, cook, work out, sing, act, and listen to music!

About the lesson

I worked for Varsity Tutors from January 2019 to April 2021, launched my own tutoring company, GreatLekhs World Wide Tutoring (G.L.O.W.), from February 2020 to August 2021 to help low-income students affected by the COVID pandemic, and have been tutoring at the professional school I currently attend since June 2021. Thus far, I have worked with more than 150 students, accumulating over 1,000 hours of tutoring experience in subjects such as ACT, SAT, PSAT, APMLE Part 1, college applications, Algebra 1, Pre-Calculus, essay writing, public speaking, psychology, French (limited to the very basics), English grammar, biology, microbiology, and pharmacology, to name a few. I have tutored students ranging from ages 8 to 50. During my time at Varsity Tutors, I maintained an average rating of five stars and was promoted to one of only four employees in the entire company to lead group tutoring sessions for several months. Additionally, I have had students anonymously fill out a survey regarding their tutoring experiences, which I have attached for your reference. What I am most proud of is the marked progress I've seen in students who follow my methodologies, especially on the ACT, SAT, and PSAT. There is a way to crack these exams, and sometimes it means implementing strategy more than actually necessarily having the knowledge to do so.
