About David
I am a freelance historian and researcher with a PhD in early modern Irish and British history from University College Cork. I have taught at University College Cork, the University of Galway and Queen's University Belfast. I have also published several books and over 20 articles in peer-reviewed journals such as Historical Research and the Sixteenth-Century Journal.

I have extensive experience of teaching at third level at three different universities and hold a PhD in history. I specialise in the early modern period (c. 1492-1815), but I tutor on all time periods. Tuition is online. Sessions are typically one hour, but this is flexible. My approach and methodology is student-centred. I establish what you need help with and work from there.
