About Ethel
For the past 12 years, I have been helping students turn their challenges in English into strengths. As an ESL tutor for high school and college students, I have worked with around 150 to 200 learners. I believe that every student can improve with the right guidance and support.
I focus on building strong basics in grammar and vocabulary while also improving communication skills through speaking and writing. I create lessons that are simple, practical, and engaging. One of my proudest achievements is helping students overcome their fear of speaking English.
Many of my students have improved their academic results and feel more confident communicating. My teaching style is patient, interactive, and encouraging. I create a comfortable environment where students feel motivated to learn.
My goal is to help students grow and achieve their full potential.

My teaching style for ESL is based on interaction, practice, and real-world application. I use real-life examples and case studies to help students understand how English is used in everyday situations. This makes lessons more interesting and effective.
I motivate students by creating a supportive environment and encouraging them to participate actively. I include problem-solving activities such as conversations, role-plays, and real-life tasks to improve fluency and confidence.
I teach with integrity by giving honest feedback and guiding students clearly. I also maintain flexibility by adjusting my teaching methods according to each student’s level and learning goals.
Besides ESL, I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and communication skills.
