About Laura
I am Spanish with an educational background in Political Science and International Public Law and Diplomacy, I am a Business Manager, studied in Berkeley University of California, as well as a tutor with a passion for education and mentoring. I love practicing sports (horse riding, yoga & pilates, swimming, snorkeling, stand up paddle...). When I was a teenager I was in the synchronized swimming team. Moreover, I started playing the piano when I was 3 years old. I am also interested in politics and business.
I have been in the education world since the age of 18. I started as a teaching assistant for primary students, mainly focused on the English language. Following this, I became a teacher and mentor for primary, secondary, University students and adults. As a private teacher, I have mentored A-level and GCSE students and helped them to improve their school performance by building more confidence, studying tips, coaching and other soft skills. Moreover, I have taught a number of subjects such as Languages (English, Spanish, Italian) & Cambridge preparation exams, Philosophy, Maths or History to students aged between the age of 9 and 18. Also, as a teacher in Adult Education, I have tutored and prepared pupils during an annual course in order to access University or Professional Courses (English and Spanish) and Taught Basic and Advanced Spanish to foreigners in pursuit of official certificates.
