About Pierce
Hi there! Here's a little about my background - I began my journey as an assistant working on BBC Nature documentaries before becoming a major feature film producer's assistant. Since then I have produced three indie feature films, seeing them through fundraising, production and ultimately distribution. Recently I also wrote, directed, produced, edited and self distributed my own horror comedy feature film around the world, and have won multiple festival awards including Best Film, Best Director and Best Screenplay. Occasionally I will also produce and edit commercials on a freelance basis.

As an indie producer I have worn every hat on and off set, and can tailor my lessons to match your needs. I offer classes based on what you would like to learn, from storytelling techniques, to screenwriting, to production and editing, to lessons on how to market and distribute your films.
I will typically begin with a call to discuss your interests, where you currently are on your film making journey, and where you might need some coaching. Together we can work out a lesson plan to meet your goals. I am happy to design lesson plans around one area specifically, like editing or screenwriting, or we can work more broadly by producing your short film, workshopping your film all the way from conception through production and film festival submissions.
I am happy to work with all ages and experience levels. I would love to discuss what you are looking to gain from our one-on-one film making lessons.
