About Autumn
I am a full time college student working towards a bachelors in Asian Studies. I have always had a passion for writing and pursued it as a hobby throughout high school and my freshman year of college. My strongest genre is romantic/tragic short stories. Although I have not yet tutored for creative writing, I do have experience as a 5th-8th grade visual arts teacher.

My teaching methodology is based around hands-on learning. I enjoy utilizing timed writing prompts as they stimulate the creative areas of the brain to brainstorm with speed and efficiency. I also encourage reading different genres and lengths of stories to get a feel for the many styles an author can acquire. I approach more difficult topics by breaking them down into simpler sub topics and analyzing each part before stepping back to observe its original form.
